Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian, who's been performing for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. Bea has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few roles in Irish and British TV series starting in the year 2009. In 2012, she started to regularly appear on sketch and sitcoms. After she received an prize from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she became a regular on various panel show where she is currently a regular. Between 2016 and 2017 she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats team in addition to being a performer in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sister named Sinead. She was the only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. She uses the surnamed Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she reached the age of thirteen. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and adopted her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea and her older sister Sinead was raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea started out as a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her true passion was performing and not racing.
