Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is the son of Manny James, as well as Patty James of mixed race. Her mother is caucasian while his father was Nigerian. In 2010, he graduated from Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James was first noticed after he became a Reality star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen as the bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, making him The first African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James was a perfect fit to the job because his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a good sense of comedy. The show was over when he decided to choose Rachael Krkconnell to pursue an affair with the actress. James was paired with dancer Arnold, who was famous in the era of his participation in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold finished 12th on the show.
