Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. They was moved to Oxfordshire in the year she turned five and attended an academy called the Dragon School. At the age of six, Emma realized that she wanted to be an actress. Over some time she studied at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theatre school in which she was taught dance and acting. She had already performed in several Stagecoach and school productions before she was ten years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the film adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel premiered for the first second time back in 1999. Emma was identified by casting agents thanks to Emma's Oxford theatre professor. After a string of auditions for eight consecutive times, producer David Heyman told Emma and other applicants Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint they were cast to play the three main characters Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The film's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. It broke all records in first-day openings and weekday openings and became the top-grossing movie in the year 2001. The film was praised by critics and the performance of three top young actors. The Daily Telegraph, an influential British newspaper, called Emma's portrayal "amazing". Emma's performance was nominated and received five awards for the movie.
